The Hall and Valderrama family has lost a son, grandson, father, nephew, cousin, and uncle. The cost to bring Jacob home and honor his life is significant, and his family is humbly asking for support during this unimaginable time. Any contributions, no matter how small, will help ease the burden and ensure Jacob is given the farewell he deserves.
Jacob Hall, 40, of Hollister, California, passed away on October 26, 2025.
Born and raised in Hollister, Jacob was a man of all trades. Known for his handyman work and ability to fix anything. He had a loyal heart, protective nature, and easygoing spirit. He was the kind of person who always looked out for those he loved and brought comfort and laughter to everyone around him. Jacob had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, which gave him peace and joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving parents, George and Valerie Hall; his cherished children, Jazmine and Brian Hall; his sister, Jaime Hall; his beloved nephew, Jayden Hall-Perez; grandparents Herman and Margie Valderrama; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jacob will be deeply missed by his family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jacob was working in Washington State when the unexpected tragedy occurred.
Funeral services will be held at Black-Cooper-Sander Mortuary in Hollister, followed by interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Jacob’s life.
Jacob’s loyalty, strength, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him best, and his memory will live on in the quiet moments by the water where he loved to cast a line.
