Amy Adell Feist went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2025, at the age of 50. She was born May 31, 1974, in Red Bluff, California. She graduated from Shasta High School in Redding, CA, in 1993. Amy met her husband, Deron, at a job interview; she was his best hire. They moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where she worked at Steele's Market for a few years before opening Little Miracles Childcare and working at Harmony Imaging Center.
She married Deron John Feist on November 4, 1994, on Makena Beach in Maui, HI. After some time they decided to start a family and adopted Jonah Samuel, born on February 1, 2003. Amy later gave birth to Makena Marie Grace on October 16, 2005. The family loved sports (especially soccer), playing games, and traveling together. Camping was one of her favorite things. She treasured time in God's creation and being with family and friends. She was heavily involved in her kids' school, Liberty Common, and loved the community it brought to her life.
In 2011, Amy started her own photography business: Photos By Adell, which later became Amy Adell Photography. She had a deep passion for capturing life's beautiful moments and making people smile. People loved having her take their photos because she always brought them joy. She took pictures of Jonah and Makena's soccer games, as well as weddings, seniors, and families.
She was introduced to Jesus at 19 years old. After being saved, she faithfully followed Him in every aspect of her life. She enjoyed being involved in youth and college groups, Room for Hope, and Bible Study Fellowship. She also took pictures for these groups as opportunities arose. Her faith was always the most important thing in her life. Amy was not quiet about her faith, and many people continue to be inspired by her journey. She always had a smile on her face and a joyful spirit. People were drawn into her love and her story. She and her family attended Front Range Baptist Church in Fort Collins, CO.
Amy is survived by her husband, Deron; two children, Jonah and Makena; her mom, Cindy Hampton; her sisters, Leasa Dines, Heidi Patchen, Sarah Waddell, and Tiffany Reasoner; her aunt, Brenda Ashworth; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Amy is preceded in death by her dad, Joseph Ashworth; four grandparents; and numerous
