Update: We are in need! Hi I'm Alex, Keith's daughter, my mom is currently in the process for applying to be paid to be my PCA as my health and needs continue to get more complex. It's taking longer then expected. We need help to keep our phones on in January so I can contact my health care team.

Thank you everyone who already has helped us it is extremely appreciated and helped us be able to just grieve this huge loss.

In Loving Memory of Keith Lainey

This fund is in memory of Keith, a devoted husband, loving father, and kind but stubborn soul taken far too soon.

In May 2025, Keith was diagnosed with CNS lymphoma. We feared the worst, but he faced every challenge with incredible strength and courage. After months of aggressive chemotherapy, we were overjoyed to hear in September that the mass in his brain was gone — it felt like he was finally beating cancer.

Sadly, in early October, his condition began to worsen. We heard the words no family ever wants to hear: “disease progression — there’s nothing more we can do.” After a month in the hospital, we were able to bring Keith home on hospice care on Halloween. Surrounded by love, he passed peacefully in his own home November 1st.

Keith leaves behind his loving wife, his daughter, and two beloved fur babies. His daughter, who is also chronically ill, requires daily care from her mother. With no outside family support, we’ve been relying on savings to get through this unimaginably difficult time and to make sure Keith could come home and be cared for with dignity and love.

If you would like to honor Keith’s memory by helping the Lainey family, your donation would mean the world to us. Every contribution helps us navigate this new reality and keep moving forward while cherishing Keith’s legacy.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and love.
