Simon "Chika" Chikapaza, his beautiful wife Memory, and their children and family have been deeply affected by Cyclone Freddy, which decimated southern Malawi twice this week. Their immediate and extended family have suffered home damage, home loss, and loss of life. Chika is an incredible teacher of mathematics and biology and has been a huge supporter of students and educators coming abroad from the United States to both Botswana and Malawi since our friendship began at the Artesia Community Junior Secondary School in 2017.
