Hello friends and family and everyone in between!!

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to be making this and allowing you all the opportunity to assist my beautiful son and I the ability to ... OWN OUR FIRST HOME!

We have waited for this day, let me tell you. Ever since I became a single mother, abruptly on November 30th, 2016, I have struggled to stabilize us. My sons father turned out to be a pretty scary and violent psychopath, inflicting various forms of abuse up until that night where he made the decision to lead my 9 month old son, our two dogs and I, on a high speed police chase. He drove at 110 mph for long enough that they had time to set up spikes.

We careened off the highway into a guard rail and after almost crashing to a hault, were left there, surrounded by an astounding number of officers with large guns drawn on our vehicle.

I am not sure that I have ever shared this story so publicly, but in sharing this fundraiser - it feels authentic to also share what feels like it led us to where we are now.

They arrested my sons "co-creator" that night and we have never seen him since. I have literally and figuratively pulled myself up by my bootstraps and continued raising, supporting and loving my son to the best of my damn  ability. Even when I didn't want to be here any longer. I have sought help and support when needed and have managed some incredible things on our own, if I can say so myself.

My son is healthy and thriving and has seen more of the world than most adults I know.

But, we are tired. And we are weary. I have known for a long time now that owning our own place to finally call home is what can help rest our souls and bring us into a state of peace abs stability that we have never quite known. And with your loving support and help, we can have it.

I am in a place of pure faith and trusting now that we deserve a home and that this will all work out exactly as it is meant to. I have an inclination to try and explain to you how compassionate I am toward others and how I have paid it forward whenever I am able... As if that would convince you to help us. But, at the end of the day, I know that I know that I know, that those who are called will fulfill that calling, and if you know me in any capacity, I'm sure you've experienced even the smallest bit of my pure heart.

I am dreaming of the day soon, when my son can have a bunk bed. When I can finally breathe and know that I don't have to leave, again. That this is mine. That I can stop running. That my son can finally build lasting relationships. Its so important, this I know now.

Everything feels right now. We found a house right next to my sister in Columbus Grove that is so affordable, and my son can spend time with his cousins. Whom he loves SO SO MUCH. Can't even tell you.

I'm raising $10,000 to cover the cost of closing which will be close to 6k, and the $4,000 after will go into our emergency fund for anything that comes up with the house after purchasing, which we all know is inevitable.

I feel joy, gratitude, and relief. I know in my heart that what is meant to be will be. And I know that once we are finally stable, I will finally be able to HELP OTHERS to my FULLEST capacity. My fullest fullest capacity.

I love you. Lakota loves you. And our cat Jetty loves you.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
