Hey my name is Dashaun Simmons I had got in a bad car accident. On January 16, 2023. My car is totaled. Before I got in a car accident I lost my job the same day.  Heading home on rt-46 East when a pick up truck cut me of and slams on brake, when he slam on his brake I tried moving out the way so I wouldn’t hit him, the car moved with me and made me hit him from the back. Once I hit him from the back it cause my car to spin out and hit the middle divider. I was stuck ing the car for ten mins when I start hearing gas shoot out car. I’m trying to get out my car I was truck to the point I had squeeze thru i tiny spot to get out that’s when I ripped most of my dreads out my hair. Once I get out my vehicle I have to crawl on the middle divider to get away from my car, that’s when my body collapse and I fell on the highway. Woke up in the hospital with major injuries to the head shoulder and my whole right side of my body messed up. I try to call car insurance and they told me since I was in the accident the day I had to renew my insurance it was nothing they’ll can do about it and now I’m stuck with so much bills and hospitals I have no idea how I’m pay for it.
