I recently filed for divorce in March 2024. I have been married for 15 years and with this man for 18 years. He abandoned us and moved with a lady and her two kids in Austin. She enables him to decimate me. He used my reactive abuse and recorded me responding to his triggers in order to con her and others into thinking I’m crazy. I’m not. He is a textbook covert narcissist and I am spent. While with his mistress he was arrested for DWI, Unlawful carry, evading arrest in a vehicle (company vehicle). As a result he was fired from his job. This same job that enabled him to travel and commit adultery. In addition, he tried to come back on the weekend of 5/10 on 5/11 he got hammered, strangled me and stole stuff out of our garage and returned to his mistress. He was charged with strangulation.
I’ve had to remove the attorney from my case for her inability to respond to a discovery inquiry in a timely manner. she was given two weeks and 3 months later, nothing. It’s been 7 months since I filed for divorce and not even so much as a support order has been enforced. I’m drowning.  I can’t get benefits because all entities require his financial information. He has me locked out of all utility accounts. He has left our joint account in the negative and overdrawn for months now.  I’m disabled due severe cervical spinal stenosis and my 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with CPTSD. I am unable to keep a job due to the physical limitations I have and also caring for my daughter with zero help. It’s embarrassing to reach out for help but it’s needed and I’m swallowing my pride.
