Peeps is an incredible human being. To know him is to love him. His talents are endless, he’s hilarious, a joy to be around and he has a heart of gold. His kindness and creativity are what he’s most known for. If you know him, he’s lit your life up in more ways than one.
Peeps’ life changed in an instant when he was diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2022. He immediately scheduled an appointment with a specialist. Upon receiving the first of many consultations for his treatment, he decided that he was going to fight with everything he had. He underwent surgery on December 16th.
Peeps began chemotherapy on 12/23/2022 and will have to complete a total of 8 cycles of chemotherapy. He completed his 4th cycle on 1/10/23. Each cycle’s intensity has increased and will continue to increase until he completes his treatment. He will be taking a 2 week break to allow his body to prepare for the chemotherapy to resume on 1/31/23 and will have 3 more cycles until the end of February. His doctor will determine the next steps once he is evaluated upon completion of chemo. Peeps has continued to work, with the exception of taking a few sick days thus far. He is pushing through and works more than he should. As his treatment intensifies, more time will be needed for his body to recover.
