Wayne has chronic mylomonocytic leukemia. He was diagnosed in oct 2024. He came home like everyday for the past 40 years and didnt have the strength to get to the front door. In a matter of days he had a infection called klebsella, that put him in Intensive care. Now. He had a port put in last week, today he starts a new chemo drug. For 5 days, next week we visit the transplant team at ku. He's worried about me. His wife of 44 years, and I know he's worried about money. The world is so messed up, he paid taxes everywhere, since the day he was old enough to work. He took care of me and our children for all those years, now he needs my help, I've tried to apply for all the goverment help, that out there., We don't qualify for nothing. His social security check is 200 dollars too much. We can't get extra help for food, medications or electric..
Wayne drove for several companies over the years, CFI, Trans Am, National Carriers, Smx, Hogan, the last 17 years was with Schibi Transportation .
Anything you can do to help Wayne(Farmboy) cb handle, will be greatly needed and appreciated. I just did not know what else to do.
Sincerely
Donna Raines c.b. handle sunglasses.
UPDATE: Wayne went to ku and was denied a transplant, our next option is immunotherapy. Fingers crossed and accepting all the prayers we can get. If you know Wayne, you know what type of person he is. If you couldn't get your truck into a parking space he was there, if you got locked out, he showed you how to get in. If you needed help chaining up, he was there. He shut his cb off when people started cussing really bad . Keep him in your prayers..
