Hi everyone, My name is Sophy, and I'm a mother to four amazing children. I'm reaching out today because my family is in a very difficult situation, and I'm humbly asking for your help. We currently have no vehicle, which has become more than just an inconvenience—it's a constant emergency. Living without transportation is hard for anyone, but with four kids, it's a daily crisis. The area we live in has "only one bus route that runs twice a day," or "no bus service within a safe walking distance of our home". This means that simple, essential tasks are a logistical nightmare. • Groceries: I struggle to get enough food for my family in one trip, often having to carry heavy bags for long distances or rely on expensive delivery services we can't afford. • Appointments: Getting my children to regular doctor's or dental check-ups is incredibly difficult to coordinate and often means missing appointments. • Emergencies: My biggest fear is what happens when one of my children gets sick or hurt. Right now, I have no way to get them to an urgent care or the emergency room quickly. That feeling of helplessness, knowing I can't get my kids the help they need right away, is terrifying. A safe, reliable car would completely change our lives. It's not about luxury; it's about safety and stability. A car would mean: • I can get my kids to school safely, especially in bad weather. • I can buy groceries for my family efficiently. • I can take my children to the doctor when they're sick. •It would open up job opportunities for me that are currently out of reach. • Most importantly, it would give me peace of mind, knowing that if an emergency happens, I can act immediately. I am trying to raise $ 1000 to purchase a dependable, used vehicle and cover the initial costs of insurance and registration. Any amount you can donate, even $5, would be a tremendous help and bring us one step closer to safety. If you aren't in a position to donate, simply sharing this with your friends and family would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story. https://gofund.me/9d4ff9f7
