Hi,
I’m Samantha, Patty’s niece. Many of you probably know me and some of you may know what has recently happened to her. On October 31st, Patty had a stroke that night. She’s been fighting ever since. Unfortunately Tuesday night she took a turn for the worse and we are currently making plans to put her in a hospice house. With that being said we are trying to do what Patty loved most, which is bringing people together and helping others. We are putting this fundraiser together to help raise the funds for her expenses as we look at the end of her life care and her funeral expenses. Please if you see this share it and spread the word, even if you can’t donate just reading her story means the world to me. Now for those who might not know her well I’ll tell about the person you’re helping…
Patty is the kindest and most loving person I’ve ever known. She would give you the shirt off her back and NEVER ask for it back or bring it up again, just because she cares. She has a son and grandson who are her whole world. She’s my very best friend, my person, the first one I got a tattoo with because we wanted matching ones and we begged my mom to let us get them (I was 16 and had to have her permission). She’s the one person I could call day or night, good or bad, and by the end of the call we were laughing so hard it hurt. She’s lit up every room she ever entered, she had the most contagious smile and laugh. You couldn’t be around her without feeling happier, she made the day better, she made everyone who’s ever met her lives better. She is and always will be our light in this dark world even when she is gone. She gave everyone the funniest nicknames, she was the EASIEST person to scare so we all loved it, always knew what to say to lighten the mood, and always had to have her coffee. She loves animals, loves hallmark movies, and fuzzy socks. She is just the perfect example of a superhero in human form, the brightness we all need sometimes, and the best person we have ever known. Anyone who’s read this and donated THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for spreading her story and keeping her memory alive as well as helping us during this unimaginable time.
