Hey there everyone my name is Damon and I have had the privilege to get to know Jerry over a few years now. We started as an acquaintance from us crossing paths through his recycle business endeavors. This quickly turned into an impactful and meaningful friendship and I couldn’t help but respect and admire his determination and pride in earning every bit of what he’s got. The reason behind this fund raiser is actually to increase Jerry’s safety on the road as well as comfort and longevity in his recycling business. Jerry is a very outstanding honest and kind man. He has found his path in this life and has a passion for recycling and does this to make his own means in life. To me this, enspite of some of his limitations he has risen above and puts in some serious hard work. I’d very much like to make him a little more comfortable and secure in more than a few ways with your help. What will we do with his funds?? Well I have redirected this as we have raised half which went toward a ETrike. The remaining funds will provide Jerry means for some mechanical and electrical repairs on his EBike as well as give him means to invest further into his recycling: maintenance, reflective materials, a back up battery and if possible a small trailer for his recycling bin as well as spare or a few tires. Through the power of the people and kindness in our hearts and if we are able to I believe it’s important to help one another if we have the means.
