On Friday, April 2nd, 2021, just prior to the Easter Holiday, John Weeks was murdered at his place of business while working to support his family. John was an absolute FAMILY MAN and adored his children and close family. John is the owner of AZ Metro Towing. John started this business to provide a legacy for his children and extended family. Johns’ young children are now without both parents. On January 2nd of this year, the children’s mother, Nicole, died of a sudden and unexpected heart attack at the young age of 50. These children were still processing the death of their mother when this senseless, violent tragedy occurred. So much tragedy in such a short amount of time. I started this page for financial reasons to help the kids navigate what’s next. There will be legal fees on top of medical fee’s and I’m hoping by starting this fundraiser there will be help with those expenses.
In addition to John supporting his children, John’s sister passed away 5 years ago and he stepped up to help raise her children. John was a very dedicated uncle, son, cousin and friend. John’s mother has now lost her only two children. It’s an unbearable pain no mother should have to endure. Please keep our family in your prayers.
Johns’ daughter was at the place of business when the brutal attack occurred. Thankfully, no harm came to her. John referred to his daughter as his HERO. At her young age, she so strongly held it together after witnessing such a horrific act and being questioned by authorities. This family has been through very immense pain. There is still a minor child that will now have to go on without his mother or father. It’s just a terrible tragedy.
Those of us that know John, know that he would give you the shirt off his back. He always helped others before himself. John has been through tough times in the past, he turned his life around and wanted so badly to create a legacy for his children. In the matter of just one day that was all torn apart.
I could go on and on with all the good things to say about John but there will be time for that at his memorial. Just know that he will be missed terribly and was loved by many.
The loss of John is DEVESTATING to his family. Right now, the family is taking it minute by minute. It would be nice to take the financial burden off of them at this time so they can grieve. Please consider donating any amount no matter the size.
