    Shaun is diagnosed with cerebral schizenchephaly; this means part of his brain didn't develop and he will have seizures as well as other developmental delays because of this. After we found out, his diagnosis was confirmed at UAMS where they began to help us plan for his birth with a high-risk care team just in case any complications arise. There will be a few days of monitoring and testing at both UAMS and Children's Hospital for Shaun and there will be some expenses we will have a hard time covering during our stay there away from home. We hope we aren't asking for much in getting help with the expenses that we can't afford alone.
