Hello my name is George and Camilla is my aunt. Over the years she has suffered devastating losses from beating breast cancer to the passing of her husband and three of her children. With all of the loss and pain she endured, she was always active in her church, always helped others in their times of need, she offered meals and opened her doors.
Now Camilla who had suffered a stroke is suffering from dementia and has declined in health. At times she jumps from very peaceful, very quiet, laughter, and then confusion as tons of memories flood in. It hurts so much and is very painful to hear her call out to her daughters and especially her youngest daughter who passed away September of 2022.
I’m trying to raise $10’000 to help for or any living expenses accrued and for a live-in caregiver to supplement care until my aunt is placed in a secured long term memory care facility. Any funds that are left will go towards the facility that is chosen for her care.
