Life has thrown more challenges at Julie than most people could imagine, yet she continues to meet every one with incredible strength, love, and determination.
Julie is a devoted single mother whose entire world revolves around her young son. He lives with complex medical conditions and depends on oxygen and other medical equipment every day. Through every hospital visit, sleepless night, and obstacle they’ve faced, Julie has never stopped putting her son’s needs before her own. She works tirelessly to make sure he still gets to laugh, play, and simply be the happy little boy he deserves to be.
Today, they’re facing one of the hardest battles yet.
Their home has become unsafe. Water is leaking through the ceilings and into light fixtures, the basement has flooded, and moisture has spread throughout the house. For any family this would be overwhelming, but for a medically fragile child who relies on oxygen, these conditions create serious safety concerns.
Despite reaching out for help, they’re still waiting for a solution while the situation continues to worsen. On top of everything else, they’re now facing the possibility of losing their home.
No mother should have to choose between keeping a roof over her child’s head and protecting his health.
