I'm Morgan Young and I am raising funds for educational scholarships and heart research with the AHA GO RED x Miss America collaboration! American Heart Association's Go Red for Women has joined forces with Miss America's Scholarship Foundation to raise both research dollars AND tuition scholarships, ensuring a healthier, smarter future for women in America.

Support My Journey to Miss New York & Champion Heart Health

Why This Mission Matters to Me

Heart health isn’t just a cause I support; it’s deeply personal. My family has felt the impact of heart disease firsthand. My grandfather survived cardiac arrest and underwent open-heart surgery. Both of my parents have been diagnosed with heart conditions—high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation. Seeing the struggles they’ve faced has made me incredibly passionate about raising awareness and supporting the American Heart Association (AHA).

That’s why I’m honored to compete for the title of Miss New York 2027 as a local delegate and to take part in Miss America’s partnership with the American Heart Association. Through this platform, I can advocate for heart health, encourage preventative care, and help fund vital research that saves lives.

Why I'm Competing for Miss New York

I first stepped onto the Miss America stage at 15, drawn to the program’s mission of service, scholarship, and sisterhood. I took a break to focus on college, earning my degree in Computer Science & Engineering, but returned in 2024 because I knew I wanted to give back through this organization once again.

Now, as a delegate for Miss New York 2027, I am committed to using this opportunity to make a difference, not just in my community but nationwide. Competing for Miss New York 2027 allows me to serve at an even greater level, and I need your help to make it possible.

How You Can Help

As part of my job as a local delegate, I am raising at least $330 for three incredible causes:

❤️ The American Heart Association – funding research and advocacy for heart health
👑 The Miss New York Organization – providing scholarships for young women like me
🇺🇸 The Miss America Organization – continuing its legacy of empowering women through education and leadership

Every dollar goes toward changing lives—whether through lifesaving medical research, educational opportunities, or mentorship programs that uplift young women across the country.

Your support truly makes a difference. Will you help me reach my fundraising goal?

Together, we can champion heart health, education, and opportunity. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!

This collaboration provides funds for national awards, and in addition, both Miss America's/Miss America's Teen State Scholarships and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement. The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women is Miss America's Scholarship Foundation's national health thought leader. All above mentioned entities are 501(c)(3) organizations and all donations to this campaign are fully tax-deductible per IRS regulations.
