I speak to you on behalf of my family of seven members, four of whom are children. I inform you that we are still living in extremely difficult conditions. Violence against civilians continues, and the devastating effects of the war are still pursuing us and depriving us of a dignified life.
After being displaced nine times over nearly three years, we returned to our home only to find it destroyed and uninhabitable. We are still trying to repair part of it so we can live there, but to this day we have not been able to provide water, electricity, internet, or even the most basic necessities of life.
We are trying to survive, but the lack of opportunities for living and the deprivation of our rights to health, education, and food pose a serious threat to our lives.
After nearly three years, our health conditions have deteriorated due to the lack of food and medicine, and our bodies have become weak and frail. Therefore, we appeal to you to help us restore our physical and psychological health.
My siblings and I have been out of education for three years. It is our right to return to school, but this requires significant expenses, especially since most schools and universities have been destroyed.
With your help, we can live with dignity, lead a normal life, and obtain bread and water. With your support, we can also sleep without fear of animals entering our destroyed home or the reptiles and insects that surround us in large numbers.
We are trying, unfortunately, to leave Gaza, but the authorities controlling the Rafah crossing demand a very large sum of money to allow us to leave. We are a large family—my father, mother, myself, and four children—and after spending significant amounts over the past three years, we no longer have the funds needed to travel.
With your help, we can provide the minimum of our basic needs, restore some normality to our lives, regain our health, return to school, and live with dignity.
