On May 21, 2025, my father, Juan Epifanio 'Eppy' Acevedo Santos, transitioned to the next life. We are fortunate that, as a family, we have always planned for the inevitability that comes with the end of life.
Honoring my father's wishes, he will be cremated with no mass and no burial. While he wanted to have no viewings or funeral services, we understand the need and space to allow friends and family to grieve. A memorial will be held - more details will be forthcoming.
In lieu of flowers, should you be compelled to do so, I have created a memorial fund that will serve as a support to my mother during this difficult time, as we work toward this next chapter of life, and any medical bills we may need to cover, or please make a Donation to the Histiocytosis Association to help those afflicted with Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
We are grateful for the outpouring of support during this very difficult time and hope Papi and our beloved pet Camilo, who preceded him in death, are happily reunited and walking together in peaceful grace.

El 21 de mayo de 2025, mi padre, Juan Epifanio "Eppy" Acevedo Santos, falleció y regreso a nuestro senior. Afortunadamente, como familia, siempre hemos planificado la inevitabilidad del fin de la vida.
Honrando la voluntad de mi padre, será incinerado sin misa ni entierro. Sabemos queue Papi no quiso velatorios ni servicios funerarios, pero comprendemos la necesidad de brindar espacio a familiares y amigos un espacio para lamentar esta perdidad y ofrecer condolencias. Se realizará un homenaje en el mez de Junio; próximamente se proporcionarán más detalles.
En lugar de flores, si se ven obligados a hacerlo, he creado un fondo conmemorativo que servirá de apoyo a mi madre durante este difícil momento, mientras nos preparamos para esta nueva etapa de la vida y para cubrir cualquier gasto médico que debamos cubrir. También pueden hacer una donación a la Asociación de Histiocitosis para ayudar a las personas afectadas por la linfohistiocitosis hemofagocítica (LHH).
Agradecemos el apoyo incondicional durante este momento tan difícil y esperamos que Papi y nuestra querida mascota Camilo, quien falleció antes que él, se reencuentren felizmente y caminen juntos en paz y armonía.
