For those that do not know me I'm Pepper a Bronx Based Freelance Makeup Artist. I am still very much growing my small business and it brings me great embaressment to share with you this current event.
However, if you have ever experienced something similar I hope you can find it in your heart to empathize with my situation. I work mostly from my at home studio and as of yesterday 9/29/21 I had noticed my savings from ALL of my jobs within the year have been compromised.
Anyone I bring into my home studio I trust and love. It really breaks my heart and soul knowing someone took advantage of me in this way. Especially, since it might be someone close to me. I still do not know who did this to me and I don't know if at this point I want to. However, I still would very much appreciate any help.
I have worked extremley hard this year especially and I feel as if everytime I get closer to a major stepping stone in my career I also am given a huge set back.

I will not allow this situation to destroy what I am so focused on building and I will be installing cameras into my studio as soon as possible. I hope if you are a fellow artist working from home you can also learn through my situation. Also, I must add the funds were in a safe. Which is why I know it is someone who knows me closely who possibly did this and it is probably the hardest part to deal with.
