I'm reaching out from Mission Viejo to share an exciting opportunity to transform an underused landscape at Newhart Middle School into a vibrant native pollinator and wildlife habitat garden. This effort is part of my Eagle Scout Service Project, and together, we can create a sustainable environment that supports native birds, bees, butterflies, and other beneficial wildlife. The area, shaped somewhat like a rhombus, spans about 50 feet on its longest side and includes a natural rock feature that will serve as a step, enhancing both the garden's beauty and accessibility.
This project isn't just about creating a garden; it's about fostering an engaging outdoor learning space for students. They’ll get to explore and learn in a thriving ecosystem right in their schoolyard. With your support, we can get closer to making this vision a reality.
