Have you ever seen someone trying so hard to the point of making themselves sick due to stress and mental health issues.
My friend is a great and proud mother of 4 kids ,hard worker ,goes to church and helps her community.She had just transitioned to a new job ,responsible and supportive of her community.This year alone she and 3 members of her family has been affected by a ICE raid resulting in her nephew being detained and in ICE custody right now.In the last few months she went through a costly divorce & custody battle that forced to move out her matrimonial home.All this depleted her life savings and she had to start from scratch.Due to stress it resulted in mental fatigue, auto immune issues that resulted in hospitalization and & weeks off from a job she just got without pay.
Although she just starting back at work this Jan 2026.She fell in rent ,2months ($1,500 each month) as of December 31st.Starting Jan 1st it will be 3 months behind,($4,500total) plus utilities (gas ,electricity, water) and general food and welfare for the kids.If she looses the home,her kids will be taken away from her.
Shes alone with no family,can’t qualify for rental or emergency assistant programs .As advocates,supporters,coworkers,a community & collaborators ,let’s help her to start on a clean slate this year.Every contribution helps and thank you so much in advance.
