Me and my friend Alyssa are having a really hard time lately and I really want both of us to have our freedom. I'm 17, and Alyssa is 19. She is stuck with her parents as she has some physical and mental disabilities, though she is a really strong person, and pushes through that, it can make it harder to get a place. We are both autistic, I suffer from depression and anxiety personally. My friend Alyssa is legally blind in one eye, is a cancer survivor, but she still gets a lot of things to deal with from her family. I'm in the foster system, being in a group home. Me and my friend Alyssa are in very similar situations, where anything we say or do gets ridiculed by our legal guardians, and we get blamed and punished for things other people do. I'm trying to raise some money so that once I turn 18, me and Alyssa will have some resources to move out on our own. Anything helps I swear!!
