Update:
Due to ongoing legal matters, I’ve removed some details from the original fundraiser. Thank you for understanding, and for taking the time to read and support my son and me.
My son is a bright, thoughtful 14-year-old with a huge heart, and like most kids his age he should be focused on school, friends, and growing into the young man he’s becoming—not worrying about where home will be.
Now that we are going through a temporary housing crisis, his father has begun using our situation to challenge my ability to care for him. This has created a very stressful and emotional situation for both of us.
My son has made it clear that he wants to remain with me. He simply wants stability and the ability to have a relationship with his father at a pace that feels comfortable for him. He hopes to be able to choose when he spends time with his father and to always know he has a safe home with me to come back to.
Unfortunately, the current situation has created pressure for him to make decisions he doesn’t feel ready for during a time when life already feels uncertain.
Right now, the most important thing I can do for him is provide a safe and stable home again. That is why I am asking for help during this difficult chapter of our lives. Your support will help us stay together and rebuild the stability every child deserves.
Now I’m doing everything I can to rebuild and create stability for my son and myself.
My goal is to raise funds to help cover rent and basic living expenses while I work and study to become a licensed insurance agent. Having stable housing would give me the chance to focus on building a better future for us instead of constantly worrying about where we’ll live.
Every donation will go directly toward housing and utilities while we get back on our feet. I will also share updates so supporters can follow our journey and see how your kindness is helping us move forward.
We may be a small family—just the two of us—but we are strong and determined to build a better life together.
As a mother, asking for help isn’t easy, but I’m willing to do anything to make sure my son has a safe and stable home.
How donations help:
• $5-$10 helps with fuel to get back and forth from work
• $25 helps with groceries or household essentials
• $50 helps with utilities
• $100 helps toward monthly rent
• Any amount brings us closer to stability
If you happen to be the first person able to donate, please know that your kindness will mean more to us than words can express and will help us begin rebuilding.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read our story and support us in any way. Even sharing encouragement means the world to us.
