My son, our dogs and I moved to Washington state in July of 2022. We transferred our jobs so we had employment waiting.
Housing assistance proved to be non-existent, so we've been struggling between hotel rooms and our car.
I ended up in the ICU for a week in December due to an undiagnosed ulcer, two days after I lost my job
I just got a new job that I start 2/13/23. Now, our car is in need of some major attention. If the car goes down, we will lose everything.
We've been surviving with the kindness of family, friends and strangers, and now need even more help to continue. The funds will directed to car repairs. Any remaining funds will be put toward getting housing.
