My 2 boys and I have been struggling bad recently. My oldest had dropped out of school despite my recommendations. He said he was tired of seeing me work so hard and still not be able to pay the bills and he got a job. We had saved up $3,000 and put that down on a rental for first last and security only to find out 2 weeks after moving in that the person didn't even own the place. We were unable to get the power back on so we had left our stuff there and stayed with a friend for a couple Days. When we went to check on our stuff we noticed that somebody had robbed us blind I am a mobile mechanic and I had a lot of tools and now they are all gone so I can't even preform my duties correctly until we accumulate the tools needed to get the job done. My children are really upset and that's what is hurting me the most. They had lost there Xbox, playstation, bikes and bicycles, even there clothes were taken. I have been paying 100 a day at a motel 6 and I only have enough money for one more night. I have been telling my children that this is a lesson in life and teaching them how to humble themselves and that if we stay focused and work hard we can get things back in no time. Then this ice storm hit and my truck had the fuel pump go out while I was helping people that were stuck in the ice. I didn't ask for anything in return but was offered a couple dollars and cried a little when I realized the situation that we are in. I don't like my children to see me like this and I hate asking for help, I just don't know what to do at this point and would like to get some help so we can have a place to take a shower and sleep. I really don't know what to do at this point I'm embarrassed and just want my children taking care of. I have not been able to sleep or eat that much because of this whole situation and I have been working so hard just to come up with the money every day to make sure my children have a place to put there head at night and something warm to eat the ice storm we are having here in fort worth Texas has really put a damper on things I hope this will at least generate a couple dollars to get a room for my children for the next couple of days or weeks just that alone would take a major burden off of me and stress off of all of us.
