Hello Community!
I am writing on behalf of our Potomac Shores Middle School Dance Team where I volunteer as an assistant coach. I’m proud to say that this will be my third year helping out with this group.
Unfortunately last school year, the program came to an unexpected abrupt halt through no fault of the students resulting in a shortened season. But thankfully, this year we are back and better with new leadership and a team of dancers who strive to represent their school with pride on and off the floor.
As with any extracurricular activity, there are costs associated with participating.
I am reaching out to you today in hopes that you will consider supporting our team through a donation. Your contribution will help cover some expenses associated with wardrobe, accessories, and related items. These expenses add up quickly and can be a barrier for some of our team members.
By donating to our dance team, you are not only supporting our individual dancers but also investing in the arts and the development of young leaders. The discipline and teamwork required in dance will benefit our young ladies throughout their lives.
