Hello friends, family, and kind strangers,
Meet Queen, my beautiful 5-year-old French Bulldog and one of the most important parts of my life.
Iâve had Queen for all five years of her life. She has been by my side throughout my early 20s and has been so much more than a petâshe has been my family, my companion, and a huge source of emotional support. She has gotten me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and anyone who has met Queen knows just how much personality and love can fit into one little dog.
Recently, our lives changed very quickly.
After noticing that Queen wasnât feeling well, I took her to the emergency vet. After visits to three veterinary ERs, multiple examinations, and testing, on August 20th we received heartbreaking news: Queen is dealing with liver problems as well as cancer.
Because of the severity of her condition, Queen will need surgery to remove the cancer. Unfortunately, her liver is not currently healthy enough for her to safely undergo the procedure. Our first priority is treating and stabilizing her liver so that, hopefully, she can become strong enough for surgery. Her surgery is tentatively expected to take place in September. Iâm incredibly grateful that we discovered this when we did, but watching such a young, lively dog suddenly become sick has been heartbreaking.
For those who havenât had the pleasure of meeting Queen, she truly is one of a kind. â¤ď¸
Queen loves belly rubs, chasing lasers, dressing up, dancing, taking pictures, andâstrangely enoughâlicking feet. đ She has the personality of a cat and somehow believes every high surface was specifically created for her to climb onto. She adores babies, has a hilarious soft spot for men, gets along with dogs, cats, and other animals, and has a personality big enough to fill an entire room.
She may breathe like she just ran a marathon simply from existingâbecause, well, sheâs a Frenchieâbut that has never stopped her from wanting to run, play, explore, and be involved in everything.
Queen brings happiness wherever she goes.
And more importantly, she has saved me in more ways than she will ever understand. Now, I want the opportunity to do everything I can to save her.
Queen had been healthy for most of her life, so I never imagined we would suddenly be facing allergies, serious liver problems, and cancer all at once. I unfortunately did not have pet insurance in place before these conditions developed, which means her current medical expenses and upcoming treatment are not covered.
As someone who doesnât normally ask others for financial help, creating this fundraiser is difficult for me. But Queen deserves every chance I can possibly give her.
If you are able to contribute toward Queenâs liver treatment, veterinary care, and cancer-removal surgery, no amount is too small. Every donation will go toward giving her the chance to recover, have her surgery, and hopefully live the long, happy life she deserves.

Queen is only five. She still has so much love to give, so many people to make smile, and hopefully many more years of belly rubs, ridiculous outfits, pictures, dancing, and mischief ahead of her.
