We recently made the decision to relocate from Washington to Vermont so we could be closer to our family in our later years. It was a leap of faith - we moved without a guaranteed place to live, trusting that thigs would work out. The journey has been more challenging and expensive than we anticipated, and now we find ourselves in a difficult situation. We have a place to stay lined up, but the costs of first and last month's rent, a security deposit, and shipping of our belongings have left us with very little. We are currently staying in a hotel, but we are only days away from running out of funds to remain there, which means we are at risk of becoming homeless.
I am reaching out because we are truly in need of help to get through this transition. Receiving support will allow us to secure a safe place to live and bring our belongings home, providing stability and peace of mind during this challenging time. We took stepping out in faith literally, and we know that sometimes we have not because we have not asked. We trust that God will impress the right people to help, and we are grateful for any support we receive. Your kindness will make a real difference in our lives and help us start this new chapter near our family. Thank you for considering helping us during this time.
