Dear family, friends and supporters,

With the encouragement of some very dear friends, I am reaching out during a difficult time for my family.

On July 23, 2025, I received a diagnosis of a stage 3 uterine prolapse with additional pelvic organ prolapses. It appears that having 3 kiddos so close together many years ago, coupled with my current menopausal state, has caused these urogynocological prolapses. On September 27th, I had surgery to remove my uterus, cervix, tubes and ovaries, and then restructured the area with my own ligaments to secure the other prolapses and keep everything in place.

While these cuties are so worth it, my surgical recovery time has brought on some financial concerns.

Thankfully, the surgery itself and hospital stay was covered in full by my insurance. However, it will put me out of work for a minimum of 4-6 weeks. After speaking with my HR rep, I found out my estimated net disability pay will be around $160 weekly, or $640 monthly, which will not cover my $3,500 in monthly household bills.

My final regular paycheck will be on October 2nd and my disability pay will not start until mid October. My regular pay will not begin again until after I have recovered and returned to work which I am hopeful will be in late October or early November.

As some of you know, we are a single income family, and working in retail does not afford me the opportunity to work from home while recovering. In order to keep current on my rent, utilities, car payment, insurance, and household bills, I am hoping my family and friends can donate a few dollars to help me and my family get through this.

We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can give, from donating what you are able, offering prayers and well wishes, sharing recovery tips or sharing this post. 🩷
