I’m humbly reaching out today to ask for your support as I pursue my dream of earning a college degree.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed in the power of education to transform lives—not just academically, but emotionally, socially, and economically. As a first-generation college student (or adjust if needed), I carry the hopes of my family and the desire to break generational cycles, create a better future, and ultimately give back to the community that shaped me.
I’ve worked incredibly hard to get where I am—balancing school, work, and responsibilities at home. I’ve been accepted to Russell Sage to study Physical Education, and I am deeply committed to my education. But despite scholarships, grants, and part-time work, the financial gap remains overwhelming.
Between tuition, textbooks, housing, meals, and basic living expenses, I’m at risk of falling behind or being forced to put my education on hold. This is not easy for me to share. Asking for help—especially financial help—is vulnerable and humbling. But I know that I cannot do this alone.
I am setting up this GoFundMe in hopes of raising $500 to help cover my remaining tuition and living expenses for the upcoming semester/year. Every dollar, every share, and every kind word means more than I can express.
Your generosity will not just help me pay for college—it will help me continue believing in my worth and potential. It will give me the tools I need to make a meaningful impact in the world, and it will show that even in difficult times, compassion and community still win.
If you’re unable to donate, I completely understand. Sharing this campaign and keeping me in your thoughts is equally appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story. With your support, I’m one step closer to building a brighter future—not just for myself, but for everyone I hope to help someday.
