Rev. Earl Chestnut, an 84-year-old veteran and founder of Waverly Baptist Church, has spent over 60 years dedicated to ministry and helping others. Living in Mooresville, Indiana, Earl and his wife Ella, who is 82, have recently faced overwhelming hardships. Earl has endured surgeries for heart valve replacement and carotid artery blockage, while managing diabetes and receiving monthly shots for macular degeneration. Ella, battling her own health issues without insurance, has also had surgery after a severe accident nearly cost her an eye.
Amidst these challenges, their home suffered a water leak that caused mold in the bathroom, and their essential appliances—stove, microwave, and refrigerator—have all stopped working. After repairing their car twice due to accidents, including a hit-and-run, they find themselves without the means to replace these vital items or cover mounting medical bills. I'm reaching out from the depths of my heart, hoping to raise $5,000 to help my beloved father and stepmother through this difficult time.
