We are coming together on behalf of a woman in our community who recently suffered a sudden and devastating stroke. She has chosen to remain anonymous, but her situation is very real and extremely urgent.
She is now in a critical window of time — the next few weeks are essential for her to regain mobility, independence, and quality of life. Her doctors have recommended one full month of intensive rehabilitation. The cost: $2,500 per day, an amount completely out of reach for her family.
To make matters harder, her insurance has refused to cover the rehab she desperately needs. Without immediate treatment, her chances for meaningful recovery drop significantly.
