I recently was hospitalized and diagnosed with heart and liver disease and, unfortunately, my kidneys are not functioning, so I will need a kidney transplant. I am currently on dialysis to stay alive 3x a week until I am able to get a transplant from a living donor. This has affected my life dramatically, as well as my family. I am praying for a good outcome as I continue dialysis until I complete all the testing required to get added on the kidney transplant list with the Mayo Clinic and Banner. One kidney is all you need to live a full life.
