We have purchased a property with around 20 acres in North Carolina to use for an animal sanctuary and rescue.
We have moved to the property with the majority of our animals and are now experiencing issues with the well not working.
The funding will help with getting the well repaired so that we have running water here at the sanctuary for our animals. We also need to do work to the land to make it safe for the animals.
We need some tree removal, secure fencing, and a more secure barn.
Any additional funds will go towards the care of our animals and our rescue efforts.
So much of our time, funds, and effort have gone into animal rescue, but now we know we can't do this all on our own and we are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for support.
