Hi everyone.

I’ve had to do this a few times in my life, and while I hate asking for help from others (especially when it’s such a difficult time for everyone in our current economy), but I do not have many other options and figure it doesn’t hurt.

Yesterday my car decided to break down and I was notified I would need a new engine, which can cost up to $2,000. I just paid off my car roughly two years ago and I have 87,000 miles on it.

This cannot come at a worse time, but when it rains it pours. For over the last two months I have been working 6/7 days a week and sometimes 10 hours a day just in order to catch up and pay off my taxes from 2025. After my sister passed away on Christmas Day 2024 and then our eldest dog, Juniper, passing away the following July, I was in a dark place for most of 2025 and depressed, leaving me unable to work many days. I was also not sober and did not make the best choices. No matter how hard I have worked and currently still am working, I cannot catch up and feel every other day is a set back. On top of my, now, needing a new car engine, my family has to repair our roof from a wind storm that occurred back in April, we have our youngest pup’s spade/gastropexy surgery approaching, credit card bills, insurance bills, doctor bills, mortgage payment and work booth rent, on top of the insane cost of groceries, gas, etc. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to get a new vehicle and the car payment that comes along with it. Life is currently too much and one thing keeps getting piled on to the next.

Anything helps and I am forever grateful to anyone who can make a donation, no matter what it is.

Thank you all 🧡

Update: I was quoted $8,000 for a new engine, which is more than my car is even worth. I hope to use any donations to go toward saving up for a new mode of transportation.
