March 9, 2022 Lamar suffered a massive heart attack , he was taken by ambulance to Cobb Co Hospital where he was immediately taken to cath lab where he then experienced cardiac arrest for 26 minutes . There were two stents placed and he was transferred to ICU. He is currently extubated , oriented to an extent and knows who his family is . However there is a long road of recovery and finances are going to start piling . Karen needs to be able to be with Lamar. Lamar and Karen had just started a new job and also do not have insurance at this time. No amount is to big or to small . Anything will help , I just truly hope we can all pull together and help them. Thank you for the continued prayers and love.
March 11, 2022-> They are trying to currently move Lamar to a reg cardiac floor instead of ICU bc he is more stable . Which is a blessing . He passed his swallow study yesterday . Occupational and physical therapy are on board . He is on a soft diet . Please continue to pray , he has a long road but nobody is more capable than Lamar . We appreciate you guys so much .
