Good day to all who see this and blessings, I am employed as schoo bus driver. My season ended, June 25th. I was told I was considered to come back on July 7th. Praying for the opportunity to return from July 7th through July 17th. Had all hope on today.
July 5th after my morning devotion, I went to look at the email sent out 18th and 22nd of June to discover that another email was sent on 24th of June. That letter began like this.
(Boy, oh boy! I sure do hate being the bearer of anything less than great news but I have received word that our plans have changed, yet again. If you are receiving this email, at this time, we do not need you to come in for the remainder of this summer. We truly appreciate your being available and sincerely apologize for the confusion. Should we need you, we have your contact info and will reach out.
Again, I am so sorry and I hope you can forgive me and my crazy emails!!!! We look forward to seeing y'all for sure August 3rd!) ISD I work in doesn’t offer unemployment. We are off 14 to 17 weeks a year.
I was blessed to receive this job offer, which was very challenging. I received my CDL. Always praying for consistency.
Before this job I worked for Nordstrom in stock logistic, hours cut due to lack of receiving product. And if you are aware Nordstrom Galleria has closed its doors.
I DoorDash and it takes a toll on my car, my care needs to be serviced.
There is such a thing as age discrimination. I am 64 years old.
But if you see me I am full of life.
I’ve applied for employment with the City of Plano for Route Driver l and Animal Services. This would bring consistency to my journey.
I can’t retire and don’t want to. I like living with purpose. Waking up early to live life. Giving back to what God has blessed me with.
