I want to save FrostShade, a fragile little stray who needs urgent medical care to survive.
For my 40th birthday, my only wish is to save a little life.
This is FrostShade, a stray kitten who showed up near us and has been receiving what love and comfort we can offer each day. She is so gentle and trusting despite all she’s been through. But she is hurting. She has open wounds that won’t heal on their own. The vets have told me she will likely need surgery to drain and stitch them, along with antibiotics and ongoing care. Without this, she won’t make it.
I have called every shelter near us, but they are full. Animal control told me their hands are tied because in Virginia cats are considered “free roaming.” That means there is no safety net for her.
I want so badly for FrostShade to have the chance at life she deserves. She is loved, she is worthy of healing, and I believe she came into our lives for a reason. But I cannot cover the cost of her medical care.
