My journey of serving vulnerable children and families led me to Redeemer's Hope Orphanage (REHO) in Kanyanga Zone, Eastern Uganda. Since becoming involved with this organization, REHO has grown very close to my heart.
At REHO, our mission is simple: to give vulnerable children and families hope, dignity, and opportunities for a better future.
We work within communities to support children where they live, together with their families and caregivers. Rather than separating children from their families, we believe that, whenever possible, children should be supported within their own communities and family environments.
Every day, we see how small acts of support can make a meaningful difference.
A nutritious meal can give a hungry child the strength to learn. Educational support can help a child return to the classroom and dream about a better future. Assistance to a struggling family can help create stability and reduce the challenges that children face.
Our Goal: $30,000
We are raising $30,000 to help REHO expand its programs and reach more vulnerable children and families in our community.
The funds will help us provide:
🍲 Food & Nutrition — nutritious meals and food support for vulnerable children and families.
📚 Education — school-related support, learning materials, and educational opportunities for children who may otherwise struggle to attend school.
👨👩👧👦 Family Support — assistance to vulnerable families facing difficult circumstances.
🌱 Sustainable Livelihoods — programs designed to help families build more stable sources of income and become more self-reliant.
🏘️ Community Outreach — expanding our work so that we can identify and support more vulnerable children and families.
Every Child Deserves Hope
There are children in our communities who want to learn, dream, and build a better future, but circumstances beyond their control can make that incredibly difficult.
We believe their circumstances should not determine their future.
With the right support, a child can stay in school, receive proper nutrition, grow in confidence, and have the opportunity to become the person they were meant to be.
