Anyone who knows me knows Sergei isn’t “just” a dog to me. He’s my soul family, my anchor, and one of the reasons I’m still on this earth. His love and loyalty have carried me through my darkest days, and now I want to fight to keep him alive as hard as he’s fought to keep me alive.
Everyone who meets Sergei falls in love with him. He’s full of energy, goofy charm, and endless character. Despite his recent diagnosis of a fast-growing, aggressive tumor, he’s still in high spirits, which makes this all the more shocking.
The vet says we need to act fast before it takes away the light that everyone who knows Sergei has come to love.
The surgery Sergei needs is estimated at $10,000. My insurance won’t cover it, and every day that passes matters. With surgery, Sergei has every chance to keep living the joyful life he loves.
