My mom has never had good luck and it feels like whatever luck she had left, it ran out.
My brother and I recently found out that our mom has multiple masses in her sinus, throat, and possibly her chest. The doctors discovered this through two CT scans of her head. The first showed one mass and the second, one month later, showed multiple new masses. This was very alarming to the doctors. They immediately scheduled her for the earliest possible surgery date which sadly isn't until September due to the back-ups caused by COVID. Now as she waits to find out what she has and whether it is cancer or not, she can barley eat anything solid due to the swelling in her throat and breathing well is a struggle. As kids we feel helpless watching her struggle on a day to day basis. We thought by setting up this account we may be able to relieve some of the financial burden that will be placed on our single mom from the surgery and any other possible future doctor fees.
