Help Dracula Walk Again: Double CCL Surgery Fund

We are trying to raise money to help us cover the surgery cost for our sweet baby Dracula. He is an American Staffordshire Terrier who is only 6 years old. If you know us personally you know he is not just a dog to us he is apart of our family and we’ll do anything for him. He had recently started limping on his back right leg which we were hoping was a minor injury. Unfortunately the X-rays showed he had ruptured his CCL(Cranial Cruciate Ligament) not only on the leg he’d been showing symptoms but both hind legs. This would be translated into an ACL tear for us humans. This is unfortunately a common issue with his breed type due to their size and playfulness. The surgery is extensive and time consuming which means only one leg can be repaired at a time. The cost for each surgery is around $6,000 which thankfully is cheaper than most places but still comes out to around $12,000 for both. We took him to the vet on 08/20/26 and were told the following day that the CCL rupture was confirmed by the radiologist. Today 08/24/2026 we were told that the Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon could get him in to surgery as soon as 08/26/2026 for his currently symptomatic leg. We are pulling a loan out to cover the surgery cost but are leaving ourselves in a very tight spot financially. If you are willing and able to donate we would greatly appreciate it.
