Hi all,
As some may already know, my brother Zack fell from his tree stand Wednesday evening, which has rendered him immobile from a spinal cord injury. By the grace of God, Zack’s girlfriend Lauren was home at the time and found him. He was swiftly airlifted to Upstate Medical University. He has been in the best care, and he is undoubtedly strong enough to overcome this obstacle. Our family is asking for help during this journey of many unknowns, we are also going to be traveling back and forth to ensure that Zack has someone by his side every single day. We are grateful for every one of you that have been here for support and continue to be here, the amount of love already shown has been immeasurable and it has brought Zack to tears on more than one occasion.

Zack has since been transferred from Upstate Medical University to one of the top ranked rehab facilities nationally; Shepherd Rehab Center. We are so grateful that Zack will be in the best care with many great things to look forward to. He still has a long road ahead, but with his strong determination and continued hard work, he will overcome this!
Zack is an avid sportsman who has a passion for hunting and fishing. He is not only a professional firefighter with Ithaca fire department (local 737), but having worked in law enforcement for years prior. Enjoys boating and riding his motorcycle. Zack has 2 adorable dogs that he loves and cares for dearly.
