I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help, but I’m doing this for my daughter. I’m currently transitioning out of the military and facing a period with no income while waiting for benefits, school, and employment to begin. During this time, I am the primary caregiver for my young daughter, who has been diagnosed with autism and requires constant care and support. Because of her needs, I’m unable to immediately work full-time or place her in traditional childcare. I’m actively applying for assistance programs and planning to use my GI Bill to build a stable future, but right now there is a gap that I’m trying to get through. This fundraiser is simply to help us cover basic living expenses like housing, utilities, food, and essential care while we transition into a more stable situation. I’m not looking for anything extra—just a way to stay afloat and continue taking care of my child during this time. If you’re able to help in any way, I truly appreciate it.
