I am seeking monetary donations to provide laptops for students attending the Islamic school at Cotton Tree Sunnat Ul Jaymaat Masjid in Guyana who are participating in my virtual reading and writing program. Many of these students have limited access to reliable technology, making it difficult for them to fully engage in online learning and develop essential literacy skills.
This literacy program is separate from the school's religious instruction and is designed to strengthen students' reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills through engaging, interactive lessons.
Your donation will help purchase laptops that will be sent directly to students at the school, allowing them to attend weekly Zoom sessions, access reading materials, complete writing assignments, and receive personalized feedback throughout the program. Through lessons focused on reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing, storytelling, and public speaking, students will build confidence in their ability to read, communicate, and express their ideas.
