My name is Gurmit Singh, based in Maryland. In one of my outreaches in India, I met Rakesh Kumar, director of the Life Saver Foundation Children's Center. He introduced me to this charity organization where they try to take care of abandoned poor homeless children living on the streets of India.
When I was in India in February, I had the opportunity to meet 95 children at this orphanage located in Hanumangarh, a large city in Rajasthan, India. They were in really bad shape and felt they needed help. Presently, the number is increasing rapidly and has reached 163 children in this center.
I set up this Spotfund to help these kids get food, tuition, clothing, medical, and rent. Through donations provided between September and December. So far from local contributors they have been able to provide basic food and shelter. But since the numbers are growing, and winters in India are approaching this is when I decided to raise funds to help them purchase necessary bedding and warm clothes and heaters. Additionally, purchase a small medical van in case of emergency.
To me, these children are angels who see your cooperation as a miracle for your good.
