School Street Social is a community event meant to bring people together to enjoy great music and have fun, while bringing awareness to wonderful causes and organizations that help make the world a better place.
Our show on Saturday, August 12th features the House Band from School of Rock Chicago and we'll be raising money for Friends of the Chicago River.
Since 1979, Friends has been working to improve the health of the Chicago River system for the benefit of people, plants and animals; and by doing so, has laid the foundation for the river to be a beautiful, continuous, and easily accessible corridor of open space in the Chicago region.
