Hi,
My name is Jasmine. I am one of the few mothers that have been supporting my child in Basketball since 2019 when she first started. We began with a Team of MWP when my daughter was 8, soon to be 9. The MWP team got together for many practices and tournements. They worked very hard and strived to please them selves and everyone on there team. When they started out on there adventure they had won and lost games. Each time they lost a game, they all worked together to work harder and practice more. And by doing that, they got better and better. Our MWP Team had won 9 Tournemts out of 11. Our record against other schools were 12-4. We then became ranked at 10th Place in the school districts out of 2,000 schools in State Championship. The Team and all of the parents including my self were so excited and so proud of our girls making it that far. They had very much earned there spot in State Championship Basketball. In March of 2020, State Championship was canceled due to Covid and was put on hold. It was devistaing for the girls on the Team. But they knew in there minds and heart no matter what had tooken place they had Won no matter what.
This year of 2022, our Coach for the MWP, now as MWP 5th grade Silver Team has informed all of us parents that we had been Godfathered in for State Championship Basketball in Spokane on March 11th-13th. The girls now have the opportunity to play in the State Championship.
I am writing this in farvor of the MWP 5th Grade Silver Team. My goal here by setting up this Spotfund is to help the working parents take the time off work to have a chance be there to support for there child. Also expenses in new shoes for the Team, expenses on hotels stays, tavel and food.
