I met Weslee and his beautiful mom, Kaylee and grandma, Dylynn, a year ago while being impatient with my daughter at Primary Childrens. I believe God brought us together for a very special reason. Weslee had been admitted to the hospital in September of 2024 for various health issues.  He was born with muscular dystrophy and had lived life pretty normally for the first half of his life. But soon the disease started to overtake him and about a year ago he required a tracheostomy. For the past year, Weslee has been in and out of care centers and hospitals while his mom and grandma have been by his side, as much as possible. They live in central Utah, so the travel and lodging expenses has taken it's toll. Being a mom to a special needs child myself, I understand the physical, emotional, financial, and mental toll it can take. Weslee has required 24/7 care and his caretakers have traveled his journey with him, never giving up hope, always believing and knowing that God is in charge.

Weslee lost his battle on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at age 9. He fought so hard and for so long. He truly is a warrior! I would like to help his family, especially his parents and grandma, find peace by not having to worry about his funeral expenses in the middle of grieving the loss of their only child. All funds raised will go towards supporting them at this time. Thank you!
